Serving our community is what KWDC Delta College Radio is all about. We are back to collaborate with Stockton native, George Koster. To amplify a project that spans over 4 years.

This special part 2 of Voices of the Community can be heard on 93.5 FM KWDC on Monday Oct 6th and 13th at 5pm.

Brief Summary:
Stockton’s reinvention unfolds as a community project rooted in people and place. Family, faith, and Black history cultivate young leaders; high expectations and visible role models invite the whole city to come together.

Mentorship builds pathways: Phoenix Scholars steers first-generation, low-income students from junior year through admissions, scholarships, and personal statements—turning promise into generational opportunity. Meanwhile, cross-sector coalitions confront safety, health, blight, housing, cultural preservation, and inclusion, lifting South Stockton and catalyzing momentum citywide.

So I’ve Been Thinking… what if there was a new live show on KWDC?

Tune in Wednesdays from 1 to 2pm for the newest live show featuring DJ Kate, DJ We**ie, and DJ Nadie! "So I've Been Thinking" revitalizes the college radio booth by bringing together three distinct perspectives in a lighthearted, casual discussion.

During the hour, each DJ will share something they can’t stop thinking about, curate music, and interact with the Delta College campus community. Channeling the spirit of '90s and early 2000s college radio, this show promises to be engaging, spontaneous, and completely LIVE!

(And if you sit outside the station next week, there's a chance you could be brought on air!)

They have visited us 13 times over the past several years and the impact they leave with our DMEDIA students is so powerful. Forever grateful for their time, knowledge and sharing industry experiences with us.
