Hello friends!
In honor of my recent retirement from my photography business, l've given this page a new name: from Essy D Photography to Visions of Grace.
While I'm stepping away from the business side of things, I'll still be sharing the grace-filled moments I capture - glimpses of truth, beauty, and goodness woven into everyday life. I'm deeply grateful for all of your support through the years - your encouragement has carried me through every stage of this journey, and I look forward to sharing this new chapter with you.

Feast of St. Veronica – Patron of Photographers:

Today we honor St. Veronica, the courageous woman who stepped forward to wipe the face of Christ on His way to Calvary, and in return, received the image of His holy face imprinted on her veil. She reminds us that sacred images are not merely captured…they are received in love and offered back in reverence.

As I reflect on her example and my own path as a photographer as I soon head into my retirement years, I find myself reviewing the deeper mission behind this call. From liturgical celebrations to joyous family moments, and even the light reflected in a single face in a portrait session, I’ve come to realize that my work has always had one single purpose:
to magnify God’s handiwork, to reveal the sacred, and to inspire the viewer with reverence. This, I see now, is not something I can truly “retire” from. Because while the tools may occasionally shift from camera to pen the mission remains the same: to make visible what is holy. And I intend to “work for the Lord” in every season, until I draw my last breath.

St. Veronica, model of courage and reverence, pray for all of us who seek to reflect Christ’s image in our daily work.

✨ Honored to quietly witness and photograph last night’s Healing Mass at the Lazarus Center for Healing Shrine.

The light was more than natural—it was sacred. Christ was truly present in every gesture, prayer, and moment of surrender.
