This year’s Star-Spangled Spectacular is turning up the flavor with the largest and most diverse lineup of food vendors in event history! On July 3rd and 4th, guests are invited to ‘Celebrate Freedom, Feel the Vibe in 2025’ with more food choices than ever. In addition to the culinary excitement, the celebration will showcase a vibrant array of
art vendors.

Food will be available for purchase beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 in Sunset Park
during the Patriotic Ceremony, Kiddie Parade, Classic Car Show, Poppin’ Penelope, and Peter’s Circus Show. The Storm Lake Municipal Band and 70’s tribute PetRock Band will kick off the weekend’s musical entertainment. Friday will welcome even more food vendors beginning at 11 a.m. along with live music at the bandshell at Sunset Park featuring country singers Chad Lee and Scott Gaeta at 12:30 p.m.

A favorite Northwest Iowa tradition, Storm Lake’s annual Star Spangled Spectacular celebrates
Independence Day along the City’s beautiful shores. The family-friendly event is held July 3-4
and welcomes fresh entertainment and returning favorites such as The Big Parade, food and
shopping vendors, a classic Car Cruise, the Ride-Run, fireworks, a Patriotic Ceremony, a Kiddie Parade, and more.
