With 2-5” forecasted for our area, the City of Stoughton has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY. Parking will be Even/Odd from Midnight to 8am for three consecutive Midnight to 8am periods unless cancelled or extended.

For more information on the snow emergency parking ordinance visit www.stoughtonpublicworks.com/snow

Things you can do to help plow crews during a snowstorm!
-Keep parked cars off the roadway.
-Put trash and recycling carts on your terrace or driveway apron and not in the roadway.
-Do not blow or shovel snow from your driveway or sidewalk back into the road.
-Stay home if possible.

During a snow emergency, parking is even/odd between Midnight and 8:00 am. The side of the street depends on the address of the houses on that side of the street and what the date will be after midnight. The odd side of the street is any address ending in an odd number and the even side of the street is any address ending in an even number. For example, if it is 7:00 pm on February 5, you should park on the EVEN side of the street because it will be February 6 after midnight. Failure to follow the snow emergency ordinance could result in a parking ticket.

This snow emergency will end at 8:00am on December 9th, 2025

📺 WSTO TV: 57 Years of Community Media

Since 1968, WSTO TV has been serving Stoughton as one of the nation’s oldest continuously running community television stations.

What started as a simple idea — giving residents access to the airwaves — has grown into a full-fledged operation broadcasting city meetings, community events, school performances, and more.

Over the years, hundreds of volunteers, students, and staff have passed through our studio, each helping shape WSTO’s legacy as a trusted local voice.

Today, as technology evolves, we’re proud to keep that mission alive: local stories, by local people, for local viewers.

Thank you, Stoughton, for 50+ years of tuning in, supporting, and believing in community television. 💛
