I’m 55 and down 18 kilos in just nine weeks. If you’d told me that three months ago, I would’ve laughed.
Everything started falling apart after 50: my belly pushed against every shirt I owned, I got out of breath tying my shoes, and my back… god, my back hurt every morning. But the breaking point?
My son invited me to go hiking. A simple trail. Nothing crazy. And halfway through, I had to pretend I was “checking my phone,” just to hide the fact that I couldn’t breathe. He looked worried. That moment crushed me. My GP told me: “It’s age. Men slow down after 50.” Slow down???
I wasn’t ready to spend my 50s feeling like an old man. Two weeks later, I ran into an old workmate. He looked fit. Not gym-fit… just healthier, lighter, younger. I asked what he’d been doing. He lowered his voice like it was a secret and said: “There’s an article I followed. It actually works. I’ll send it.” I read it. I tried it.
