Fall sports are coming. Here's softball.

STROMSBURG- The Polk County Slammers ended the 2024 season with a record of 17-14 and the Blue River Panthers which includes players from Shelby-Rising City along with David City and East Butler capped their season with a mark of 17-13.

FYI: Southbound highway in Stromsburg was changed yesterday. You now go southbound in the east (northbound) lane.
More options to get on the highway from the east, but still just 3rd and 9th from the west.
