“Because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them”

Life is worth living here and now just because Jesus lives. And the good news is that he lives in you! But what does that mean and how does it impact you on a daily basis? The strongest impact his life brings is certainty or assurance. The question of salvation weighs heavy on the hearts of many people. Uncertainty and doubt plague our souls. We wonder, “Have I done enough?” Or, “have I been good enough?” The answer to both questions is “No!” But Jesus did enough through his death, burial, and resurrection. 🕊️ -Life Church

“Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.”

-Acts 7:33

Have you ever felt like you’ve been wandering in the desert for weeks, months, even years, hoping and waiting for a sign from God to give you an answer, solve a problem, heal you, or maybe just give you clear direction and a deeper sense of life purpose? Then, you are standing on holy ground.

When you find yourself in any of these situations, even though it may not seem like it, you are in a very good place. You are standing on holy ground. And what you do next is so important. You have the opportunity to hear God’s voice and follow His guidance.

Or maybe you just want to make sense of life. You’ve got questions and you’re looking for answers.

The fact is you are always on holy ground. You are always a nanosecond away from hearing and obeying God’s voice, no matter how far you may feel from God at the time.

Right this moment, you are standing on holy ground.

Take off your sandals, anything that would make you feel separated from God.

Be quiet. Be still. Be humble. And listen.

God will tell you what to do next. 🕊️

Take A Seat.

Satan will try to make everything feel more urgent than sitting down to be with Jesus. But in the end, only one thing is truly necessary. And it’s not the hard conversation you’re dreading, or the pile of deadlines at work, or some distant drama on social media, or the exam you need to pass next week, or the debt you’re afraid you’ll never pay off. One thing is necessary — today, tomorrow, next Tuesday, and every day after — to know, obey, and enjoy Jesus. 🕊️

As 2024 begins we have so much to be thankful for, to reflect on and to look forward to! We were designed to not depend on our sufficiencies, but God’s. 🙏🏻 We trust the next chapter because we know the author ✍️
