SOLD! Remember the cute little vintage ring holder wall pocket from this reel: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18tQmiufpz/?mibextid=wwXIfr? I saw an ISO post for one yesterday and my buyer is so happy to finally get one. She has been hunting for one at antique malls with no luck. I LOVE helping people find things they are looking for - especially when they hold such special meaning & memories! 🥰

UPDATE: Remember that neat 70s shadow box that I purchased from a “Dig for a Dollar” box at the Angels for Animals garage sale - well, unfortunately the beans continued to mold so I decided to open it. Inside I found 45 1970s pennies, 3 Canadian one-cent pieces, a sterling silver Girl Scouts Brownie ring, and the bell was sterling silver also!! That was a nice surprise! 🥰

I made a reel about finding a Pyrex Pumpkin Butterprint bowl at the thrift store (https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18dmyi4bNH/?mibextid=wwXIfr ). I did end up buying it (see pic ☺️), but it wasn’t the first Pumpkin Butterprint bowl I purchased. I bought my first one at an auction. I was at an auction when someone mentioned they were leaving to go to another auction. I brought up pictures for that auction and spotted a Pumpkin Butterprint bowl. I immediately left and picked up my hubby (after convincing him that it would be a fun date night). It was my first time seeing one in real life and I told him that I was not leaving without it. He told me, “Do what you have to do.” Well - it took FOREVER for them to run the bowl & when they finally did, I kept my number up until it was mine. I left happy and we headed to my hubby’s favorite restaurant because the auction was NOT fun for him! 🤣

I made a reel featuring my Indiana critters on nests (https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1CbU8vaYKF/?mibextid=wwXIfr) - so I thought I’d share this page from a March 1998 Tiara Exclusives Flyer (Tiara Exclusives was started by the parent company that owned Indiana Glass and most of the glass made for Tiara Exclusives was made at the Indiana Glass Co. factory). Do you have any of the decorated (stained) ones? If so, please post a pic in the comments - I’d LOVE to see them! 🥰

My collection is complete! It’s a tough choice though - too hard for me to pick a favorite!! 🥰

I got SO EXCITED when I saw this bowl… and then I saw the price! I couldn’t stop thinking about it though and ended up buying it a month later (it was still there 😜)!!

Yesterday, someone commented on my Indiana Glass Co. Chick-N-Dip post that they were NEVER sold like that so I thought I’d share more information about them. The Chick-N-Dip relish sets appeared in the 1962 catalog. They were made in 2 sizes: 10” relish ( #7156) and 14” relish ( #7157). They only came in milk glass and the nest of the hen is stippled (see reel about Indiana Glass beaded nests - https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1Cvd1Jd8wS/?mibextid=wwXIfr). These relish sets are harder to find and considered “very scarce” by Shirley Smith in her book “Glass Hen on Nest Covered Dishes”.
