Yikes! I can't believe I haven't posted in such a long time. I am finishing up a couple of projects for customers. After that, I am open for doing VHS, mini-DV or Hi-8 transfers. I also do slides. If you have a Smart Card in your camcorder and just want someone to edit it into a nice, presentable piece of video, I can do that too. Final product can be on a DVD [lots of people still like these], a USB thumb drive or even an external hard drive. All of the big outfits talk a good game but charge waaaaay too much. You may not get your final product back in a fancy box but you will be happier and still have more of your $$$ in your pocket. Private message me, text me on my cell or give me a call. 920-559-0009.

Gloomy Sunday but a text made my day so far. After a long struggle of keeping equipment running and having to send off for repair/upgrade/update, everything is humming along. The text came from a customer who I dropped off a bunch of DVDs yesterday. It is her "Birthday Weekend" and they watched them last night and laughed and cried. A thank you from her came at a perfect time. Now to figure out what to charge . . .

While you are home practicing Social Distancing and chilling . . . . . it is the perfect time to sort through your old videotapes, slides, audiotapes and even old family movies. I will be attacking projects with a fervor and vengance during this national crisis. We can figure out a way for you to get your memories to me and I can start transferring them to DVD, USB drive or maybe even somewhere in the Cloud. Shoot me a private message and we can discuss it. I am WAY MORE REASONABLE than Legacybox, Costco, Walmart and all the others. And I offer a couple of perks that they don't.

Just got my editing system upgraded to increase efficiency and offer more bells and whistles. I am finishing a big project for a customer right now but I am taking in new projects. This customer had home videos on VHS, VHS-C and MiniDV. Final product is a set of DVDs with Menus to search for and watch content easier. I can also dump all your video to a USB device for you to share or watch wherever you want. I am also working on a slide transfer job which makes all your slides viewable on your TV, computer or other device.

Nothing more frustrating then playing a customer's videos and one is jittery. I tried 3 different machines. A Panasonic with a TBC, a Toshiba and even an el cheapo VCR. Hate to transfer family memories and have no control over original quality. Lots of footage in SLP too. At least it is costing them a fraction of what Legacybox or any other place would have gouged them for.

Time flies by quickly when I am attacking a project. Just listened to a Belgian LP and 45 rpm with the Walloon language and music. I look up at the clock and it is after 1 am.

Burning DVDS from transferred video from Hi-8 videotapes. Mattke Media Solutions in action. Tapes had 2 hours on almost every one so the process takes a bit longer. I also do something Legacybox, Costco or Walgreen don't do. Chapters and Chapter Menu. If you're interested get a hold of me.

Have video in your camera still on the Smart Card and you don't know what to do with it? I can either transfer that video to DVDs or save it to a USB device so you can do whatever you want with it. New TVs can take that USB device so you can watch right on your big screen in the comfort of your living room. Or you can plug it in your computer and then email and share videos with family and friends. I am transferring a whole race season from The Hill in Sturgeon Bay to DVD for easier viewing.

Just finished loading about 5 hours of home videos. Tomorrow I burn some DVDs. Should be just enough for the family to enjoy on New Year's Eve. Then on to next project.

Burning DVDs of family videos. Not just your typical Big Box 19.95/tape transfer to DVD. I transfer the video, divide it into scenes and include a Chapter Menu. That allows the viewer to pick what they want to watch and access it easily. This takes longer to produce and I don't charge nearly enough for this kind of finished product. But imagining families watching video they haven't seen in years or seeing relatives who are no longer with them on the screen gives me great satisfaction.

Looking for a nice, simple, but thoughtful Christmas gift? If your wedding is still on VHS, Hi-8 or even still on the smart card from the camera I will put it on a DVD and post it in the Cloud so you can access it whenever you want. Give me a photo from your wedding along with it and I will print it right on the DVD surface. The process is quick and will only cost you around $25.

Lots of transfers from VHS to DVD and Audio Cassette to CD lately. Couple of small video projects too. Just enough to keep me out of trouble when I am not slaving away for Fastenal.
