Hi Everyone!
Due to a local baker having a store called WildFlour, we have made the decision to change our name to encompass all that we are! Hecht Haus is heritage, tradition, values, and living.
It is fruit, veggies, flours, flowers, herbs and more.
We can't wait to share our growth with you!

Today’s loaf was under proofed because I had to leave for work but it’s still delicious.
I haven’t been making as much the past couple weeks as allergies have hit and I’m tired a lot.
I think I might make some chocolate soon!

Planting season is coming and I’m sad to say that my garden buddy, Cheddar, will not be joining me this year in gardening updates. My heart is broke but the season goes on so stay tuned for updates.

There’s a certain magic in a dahlia.
Even after you pick them to brighten your day, they continue to grow and change and get even more beautiful than when you chose them.
It’s breathtaking to wake up each day and see them be even more colorful than the day before and to see what colors they hide in their little petals.
10/10 highly recommend
