Thank god we were home and Dodd is okay.
But his spade place is completely ruined.

Sheeba 🐼🐼, no music, no junk, just a bunch of humans and a little misunderstood dog, playing ball, eating pup cups, expressing our feelings, and going shopping (thanks ) 🙌🏼
Sheeba has been in and out of the shelter a few times.
She could really use someone who understands personal space, doesn’t have little humans, and will keep clear of sheebas hiney area.
*Don’t ask, no one knows exactly, but she’s not thrilled with anyone playing around back there!
I know Sheeba is perfect for someone, we just need that someone to see Sheeba, give her some room to be herself, and just let love live, ya know?
Expecting every dog to adapt and accept every crazy thing humans do, is absurd.
They are living breathing souls, who have their likes and dislikes.
It’s time we started giving these dogs some room, instead of throwing them out when they aren’t the perfect stepford doodle.

Woody, minus the catchy music and heavy edits 😉
This is him.
He’s a happy playful dude, who, at times, communicates with ninja jumps and excited mouthing.
Total untrained puppy behavior, that bled into his adulthood.
He means zero harm, he just needs what he was never given, direction 😉

Baby was rescued in 2021 and quickly adopted. In 2024, he was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) and underwent spinal surgery to prevent paralysis. Against all odds, he made a full recovery, twice.
Today, he’s mobile, playful, and full of love, though he has a small hitch in his step and must avoid stairs, jumping, or other high impact activity.

Meryl
I stripped this video down, to what it was.
No bells, whistles, music or captions.
This is what we do.
We take dogs out of their kennels, let them show us who they are, and help them shine.
Meryl is breaking down in the shelter.
It is 24/7 chaos, uncertainty, NOISE, and loneliness.
Meryl is about 4, waiting since 12/2024, loves to play and engage with people, is VERY excited about treats, and has been reactive to dogs….. so, the shelter recommends she be an only dog, and that right there, tends to be a life sentence.

It just means we have to work harder to get her seen by the right people.
We have an “only dog” dog, and a “bite dog” dog.
They never cross paths, I’m not sure they know they live in the same house.
But it works.
There are other people out there like us, let’s find them, for Meryl 😢
