My name is Jonathan Smith and I am excited to bring everything ECU Football to the 757 area! I am from North Carolina and have been a lifelong ECU Pirate fan. My family has had a long standing connection with ECU. My mom, sister, brother, and countless other family members attended ECU. My dad and Godmother both teach at ECU. I attended Liberty University, were I received my Masters of Teaching. Even though my studies took me in a different direction from ECU, I have always remained a die hard fan.

I am married to my amazing wife, Mandy, and have two great kids! My work has carried me from eastern North Carolina, to central North Carolina, to Hampton Roads Virginia. I have been a high school football play-by-play announcer and have freelanced with our local newspaper.

I have be lucky enough to have a behind the scenes look into ECU athletics and am excited to share my views with this community.

ECU football has had a rough couple of years, but they are on the rise. Join me and to get a front row seat at the reemergence!
