Some Friday Breakfast Date highlights. (Since we don’t have regular date nights).
We have a new tradition. Nic, Harper and I go out for breakfast after we drop the other children off at school on Friday mornings. It’s my favorite thing! So far we have gone to First Watch | Breakfast & Brunch twice. BUTTERMILK . The Breakfast Company & OfKors Cafe in Sarasota, Fl.
The crepes at OfKors Cafe were my favorite. Followed by the Eggs Benedict at The breakfast company. None of the restaurants disappoint though. 🙌🏻

Scenes from my walks lately. Nature is beautiful. Sometimes I really don’t feel like walking. Especially in this Florida humidity and heat. But when I look around me It always is worth it. 👌🏻

We have a Teenager 🥹 A very Happy Birthday to Our oldest son, Kaden! The one who made me a mom! Where has the time gone?!! Swipe to see him grow up through the years!

He has always been a people person.. and an optimist. He became a Christian last year and also got baptized this spring. He loves golfing, baseball and some basketball. Does well in school. And is a joy to have in our family!
I haven’t gotten a picture of him solo today since they’re traveling home from a PGA Event in GA. They had a little father-son birthday trip with some friends and surprised uncle Dallas Swartzentruber there as well! They had a fun time!

I’m very aware that we are currently in ‘the good old days’ phase of life. 🥹 So I’m documenting a bit of Summertime in Florida | It’s Not fall here yet, that’s for sure! Only a few more months to go😁
I get to the end of most days feeling like I got a lot done and also not that much. Tell me I’m not alone?!
Meanwhile - Lots of walking for me. So much food to be made these days. Never ending Laundry. Some downtime here and there. And settling into a new school routine again.
I’m reminded of the many blessings we have and how so many have recently lost loved ones or are going through hard things. May you Feel Jesus near! 🙏🏻

The summer of memories! Ohio treated us well. We loved the break from the heat. The times spent on the front porch of our house. Golfing. Visiting with family. Motorcycle rides. Good food. And more! 🫰🏼💕

A full day of Airbnb Cleaning! We enjoyed staying here at our home (Maple Haven) for a month or so. We live in Florida but bought this home last year. We love escaping the Florida heat a bit and come here to be with family and spend time in our former home state of Ohio.
