Congratulations!!! Liz Love and NRG Video Production

NRG Video Production, founded by Oak Hill entrepreneur Liz Love, is evolving its business model after receiving cash and technical assistance through the 2025 Pitch Southern West Virginia Business Idea Competition coordinated by the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority and the WV Hive.

Originally launched as an outdoor videography business focused on the New River Gorge, NRG Video Production has grown into a rapidly expanding digital media platform with more than 100 million organic views across social media platforms. Love is now shifting toward building an audience-first storytelling brand centered around the culture, identity, and experiences of Southern West Virginia.

Through original concepts, regional storytelling, and creative content development, Love aims to create media that not only showcases the New River Gorge, but becomes part of how people connect with and experience the region itself. Ideas currently in development include original characters, branded merchandise, collaborations, and immersive event experiences rooted in the identity of the Gorge.

The Pitch Southern West Virginia Business Idea Competition helped Love refine and communicate her long-term vision while providing support to continue growing the platform. NRGRDA and WV Hive are proud to support entrepreneurs who are creating innovative ways to tell the story of Southern West Virginia while contributing to the region’s creative economy.
