Saturday on Lake Erie was absolutely miserable. Cold as crap, windy and rain then fog so thick it felt like rain. But...... some decent fish cooperated to help me secure a solid third place finish in the first lake event of the season.caught em how I like to, moving baits mostly until they stopped chewing then some minor changes to geta couple upgrades. Thanks to for having what I need to catch the big girls and for the XTR130 that handles any waves and wind that I put it in.

This past weekend was the second stop for on the wonderful Lake Murray.
Practice was spent locating bedding fish but slowly realized that I just couldn't pin point them because there were so many fish moving so I decided to resort to the old faithful. The tungsten evo in "the deal" and covered as many main lake points as I could. A big player was using my sightmaster lenses to locate bare spots in grass and grass patches in bare areas. kept us in the hunt the first day with a few good fish and the second day I came out swinging with three really solid fish to land us a solid 3rd place finish and amazing points.
