Join us for a morning of fall fun created especially for individuals with special needs! 🧡 The AccessiFALL Festival is an inclusive celebration where participants and their families can enjoy activities, entertainment, and all the best parts of fall in a welcoming environment.

There’s so much to enjoy, including face painting, PECS cards, a sensory room, fall festival games and activities, an electric train, petting zoo, balloon art, giant bubbles, and more! 🚂🐐🫧🎨

Our goal is to provide a fun and accessible experience where everyone can participate, explore, and make some wonderful fall memories. 🍁

Halloween is about more than costumes, candy and fun. 🎃 For kids spending time in the hospital, a little Halloween joy can mean so much more.

💜 The Spirit of Children mission is especially meaningful to our family. Through our journey with Shriners Children’s Chicago (Celebrating 100 Years this year!🥳), we’ve experienced firsthand how Child Life and Recreation Therapy can help kids build confidence, find connection and simply be kids, even during difficult moments.

Since 2006, Spirit of Children has supported Child Life programs at more than 165 partner hospitals, with 100% of funds raised going directly to Child Life Services. Our local Spirit Halloween supports the services we and so many of our friends have been able to experience.

We’re grateful for programs that help make hospitals a little less scary and childhood a little more joyful. ❤️🎃

Thanks to Spirit Halloween for this year's family Halloween lineup, as decided by absolutely no group discussion whatsoever:

🧡 Mom: pumpkin poncho
🖤 Dad: pumpkin suit + tie
🧙‍♀️ Daughter: traditional witch, no notes
⚔️🪖 Son: Stormtrooper... now with a gladiator helmet, apparently
🎃 New fogging pumpkin pile for our front yard that goes with no other decorations…yet

Insta-worthy? Maybe not. Right up our alley? Completely.
