I'm just going to leave this here. I'll keep the majority of my comments to myself this time but I do feel like many of the comments are coming from people outside of this area. We here have watched the wilderness deteriorate under mismangement and that mismanagement has been imposed by people and policies from afar. OPB seems to be in line with those policies and people that have been part of the mismanagement. But please feel free to indulge your own perspective. Our own local state park has fallen way to invasive noxious weeds and failing displays. Both federal and state policies of management need to be refined to include more hands on maintenance and less administrative staffing.

People have until Monday to weigh in on the draft preliminary land management plan for the Malheur, Umatilla and Wallowa-Whitman national forests, collectively known as the Blue Mountains.
