I remember last year about this time an artist from Sumter dropped a song that had the same trajectory as "Boots on the Ground" then the artist started spitting in the face of the culture that gave him that shine. Now said artist is on FB arguing with a promoter about $1500 while he supposed to be in LA.... Just an observation.
