Wilson Hall had a truly historic day at state as Trip Hunt broke the school record by more than 20 seconds on his way to the individual title. As a team, the Barons their second consecutive title by 31 points, setting the SCISA team record in the process.

“It was great. The tone was really set at the beginning of the season; these guys came in laser focused,” head coach Reid Schwartz said. “We competed in these big races, not resting on our laurels and being content. Racing against competition has really helped us. The kids had a great week this week, they were very focused, very mature. They worked very hard and they dominated today.”
