This week on The Grind, presented by Bank of Clarendon is Carson Todd, a graduate of Sumter High School, current pitcher for the University of South Carolina Sumter Fire Ants and longtime member of P15 Baseball!

Baseball has always been a part of Carson's life, essentially since the day he was born. He's following a great baseball lineage in Sumter and faced his greatest challenge over the past year: recovering from his first major injury. He's back healthy with the P-15's and excited to enjoy his last ride with Post 15.

The P-15's weren't quite able to finish up their matchup with Florence last night before the storms hit, so they'll pick up where they left off tonight!

Sumter trailed 2-0 in the bottom of the sixth despite a stellar outing from Marion Davis, who allowed just two hits. Errors helped Florence push runs across in the fourth and fifth to grab the lead.

They'll finish the last inning and a half tonight at 6:30 before their regularly scheduled game at Florence.
