Today, on September 11th, Patriot Day, we remember the horror, pain, and loss of the 9/11 attacks . Twenty-five years ago this day was a day like none other we had ever experienced. We are reminded today of some things we must never forget.

We remember the people we lost that day, and we remember their families. So many lives were lost that awful day. The lives of the families were irreversibly changed that day. These anniversaries come every year. These families and the survivors of that day relive the horror all over again. We must remember to pray for them and keep their grief and loved ones in our heart. Just as we celebrated 250 years of independence together this summer, we should also shed a tear with those who suffered such loss. Rom 12:15- Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

We should remember the lessons we learned. We learned we needed God as churches filled and masses of people, many of whom did not know God personally) prayed to God. We ran TO God, not from Him. We learned that America is better when we are united, not divided. We learned to view our neighbors as humans and Americans, not as enemies. We flew flags. Oh did we fly them! On cars, trucks, houses, buildings; we flew the American flag proudly and defiantly in the face of the enemy. We were committed to the Red, White, and Blue, not just whether you are red or blue. Psa 127:1- Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Mrk 3:25- And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

We remembered from whence strength and safety come. We came face to face with the fact that our oceans, the greatest military in the world, and layer upon layer of law enforcement and security forces could not guarantee our safety. We recognized that, in our prime moment of vulnerability, only God could truly keep us safe. We learned that safety is not in the absence of danger, but in the presence of God. Psalm 20:7- Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Pro 21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.

On this 25th Anniversary of Remembrance, we must do just that. Remember. Never forget.

Oops!!! We have good news and bad news.

Good news- We identified the secondary problem
that still had us broadcasting at low volume and reduced quality.

Bad news- When we found the remaining problem the piece of equipment that was hanging by a thread completely and finally broke. We have ordered a replacement overnighted and hope to have it delivered and installed tomorrow. But, for now, we are off the air again on our AM and FM frequencies.

Our livestream is STILL OPERATIONAL, and you can still enjoy our programming on wsscradio.org .
