Official Announcement: Schedule & Venue Update 🌟

Due to unforeseen scheduling changes in September, the Romans VIII Film Festival & Screenwriters/Playwrights Competition has officially moved to new dates and a new venue to provide the best possible experience for our filmmakers, writers, and attendees.

📅 NEW DATES: August 21–23, 2026
📍 NEW VENUE: The Historic Franklin Theatre — Franklin, Tennessee (just outside Nashville 🎶)

Though this change was unexpected, it allows us to make this year’s festival even more powerful — a celebration of faith, purpose, and storytelling that inspires hearts around the world. ✨

The Romans VIII Film Festival continues to spotlight films, screenplays, and stage works that uplift, challenge, and remind us that “we are more than conquerors.” 🎥✝️

On this solemn day, the Romans VIII Film Festival honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom. Their courage has paved the way for generations of storytellers, artists, and dreamers to share their voices with the world.

As a faith-based festival grounded in purpose and heart, we remember that true sacrifice reflects the greatest love of all. Today, we reflect, we honor, and we give thanks—for freedom, for faith, and for those who gave everything.
