Yesterday ChatGPT called us uncommon. Today we moved to .

So today we ran a different test in Perplexity: "SEO SaaS in Central Florida."

First name in the answer: ArcAffiliates. Again. 👇

Why? Because AI doesn't know your business. It knows what the internet says about your business. It reads your website(if yours is actually visible), your listings, your directories, your reviews — then it reconstructs you from the pieces. If your information is consistent everywhere, it gets you right. If it's scattered... it guesses.

Most local businesses are maybe 40% consistent with what AI says and what a business actually does. When a customer asks Perplexity about them, one of two things happens: the AI guesses wrong — or it skips them and recommends the competitor whose data is clean.

That's the actual game now:

→ Being RIGHT in the answer is trust.(AEO)

You need both.

So this week's question worth sitting with isn't just "would AI mention my business?" It's "would it get me right?"

ChatGPT just called us uncommon. And it is probably the biggest complement I have had in a while.

So... I did the obvious test: I asked ChatGPT who it would recommend for AEO, GEO, and SEO.

It named Arc Affiliates. 👇

Here's why that matters more than a testimonial:
The entire game now is being the answer the AI gives. Your customers aren't just Googling anymore... they're asking ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity "who should I hire for ___?" If your business isn't in that answer, you don't exist in that conversation.

So when the tool your customers are already using recommends us for the exact thing we do… that's not luck. That's the strategy working.

Here's the question worth sitting with: if someone asked ChatGPT about your industry today, would your name come up?

If your marketing plan is "rank #1 on " or "pay for sponsored ads," you're optimizing for what people see LAST.

Search "best SEO in Wildwood FL" right now. Count what you see BEFORE the first organic blue link:

1 — Google's AI Overview (Generative Engine Optimization — )
2 — Maps + the local 3-pack (Local Search Optimization — )
3 — Sponsored ads
4 — Organic search results ( )

Being #1 for SEO or sponsoring ads used to mean the top of the page.
Today it means position 3 & 4.

The screenshot below is our own market. We deployed our system in Wildwood, FL three months ago. ARC Affiliates is now cited first in the AI Overview, top of the local map pack, and pinned to the knowledge panel — every one of those sits above the first organic result. (We're the top organic result too.)
