Things you may not know about Maestro Eduardo Marturet.

As the FIFA World Cup 2026™ takes center stage across North America, one of the most recognizable musical works in the region’s football culture was created by a familiar name in Miami.

Maestro Eduardo Marturet, Music Director and Conductor of The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), composed and recorded the Official CONCACAF Anthem, the music heard during many of the confederation’s most important competitions and official ceremonies.

For those unfamiliar with its role, CONCACAF is the governing body of football in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. It is one of FIFA’s six continental confederations and plays a key role in organizing competitions and qualifying pathways leading to the FIFA World Cup™.

Through its tournaments, national teams, and member associations, CONCACAF helps unite millions of fans across the region through the global language of football.

Beyond the game, Maestro Eduardo Marturet continues to shape Miami’s cultural landscape as the Music Director and Conductor of The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), whose Chairman is Emilio Estefan.

CONCACAF House in Miami Beach

We were invited to visit CONCACAF House on Lincoln Road, an interactive experience that brings together football fans, art, history, and culture in the heart of Miami Beach.

The space features exhibitions dedicated to CONCACAF member nations, artistic installations, historic memorabilia, gaming areas, digital experiences, and activities for all ages, making it one of the most interesting gathering places for football fans from around the world who are visiting the city during the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

The experience carries special significance in the context of the World Cup, as CONCACAF is the confederation representing North America, Central America, and the Caribbean within FIFA. With the United States, Mexico, and Canada hosting the tournament, CONCACAF’s presence in Miami highlights the important role the region plays in one of the world’s most significant sporting events.

One of the highlights of our visit was learning more about the confederation’s official musical identity, created by Eduardo Marturet, Composer of the Official CONCACAF Anthem and Director of the Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO).

As the FIFA World Cup 2026™ continues to bring together cultures, national teams, and supporters from across the globe, places like CONCACAF House demonstrate how football extends far beyond the pitch and becomes a shared cultural experience.

The World’s Greatest Trophy, in the Heart of Miami

Yesterday, we had the privilege of visiting the exhibition of the original FIFA World Cup™ Trophy at the historic Freedom Tower, one of Miami’s most iconic landmarks.

As invited guests, we were welcomed by Patrick Tobler, Communications Manager at the FIFA Museum, and had the opportunity to experience firsthand a display centered around one of the most recognizable symbols in world sport.

Presented by the FIFA Museum and Miami Dade College, the exhibition brought together visitors from different backgrounds and nationalities around a piece that has become part of football history. The presence of the original trophy at Freedom Tower gave both residents and visitors the rare opportunity to see up close the prize every footballer dreams of lifting.

The choice of Freedom Tower carried special significance. Considered one of Miami’s most important historic landmarks, the building has long been connected to the stories of thousands of families who found a new beginning in the city. Against that backdrop, the arrival of the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy added another chapter to a place deeply woven into Miami’s identity.

Throughout the day, hundreds of visitors waited in line to see the trophy, take photographs, and be part of a moment that reflected the atmosphere currently surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

Miami continues to establish itself as one of the tournament’s key host cities. With matches, exhibitions, cultural programs, and fan experiences taking place across the region, the city is welcoming the world while football remains at the center of the global conversation.
