Soprano, Vicki Fingalson will join forces with pianist, Teresa Vaughan in an eclectic program of Music to Move, Challenge, and Delight. They will be joined by Greg Moore (alto saxophone), Jeffrey Madison (baritone), and Byron Klimek (cello) on a program featuring the music of W.A. Mozart (Exsultate Jubilate & excerpts from Le nozze di Figaro), Ellwood Derr (I Never Saw Another Butterfly), and Benjamin Britten (On This Island).

Holiday tradition on-air for all to hear

Enjoy the University of Wisconsin-Superior chorus and orchestra as they perform their winter concert “Season of Song: These Winter Nights” featuring organist Rachel Kresha and Soprano Sarah Lawrence. They'll perform holiday favorites like The First Noel, Silent Night and Carol of the Bells at this 25th Anniversary concert.
A recording of this performance will air tonight on KUWS at 7:00 pm.

A Dickens of a Christmas

White Winter Winery hosted their annual dinner theater performance of “A Dickens of a Christmas” benefiting the Iron River Library. This holiday classic will air shortly after 8:00 tonight immediately following the performance of the UW-Superior "Season of Song" concert.

We are very excited to share a new level of partnership that WPR’s Northern Region has made with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra! Tonight is the inaugural broadcast of DSSO concert recordings we will air on KUWS 91.3 FM and WSSU 88.5 FM Thursdays at 7:00 pm. We will be airing concerts every Thursday night through the rest of the summer. Just another way we are connecting community assets like the DSSO to the listeners of our region.
