Kittens are almost ready and some are ready for adoption. If you’re interested in a kitten, please send me a private message! 😸🐾
I have been extremely busy at the rescue, bottle-feeding newborn kittens, etc. It truly feels overwhelming and hectic right now, especially bottle-feeding so many kittens. I find myself saying this every year, but it really is a lot to handle at the moment.
I greatly appreciated the cleaning supplies you provided; they help immensely. Keeping everything clean is so important.
Some of the mother cats are not producing much milk and are experiencing a form of IBS, worse than usual. They have been dewormed and are on flora.
I've also been cooking them chicken and rice and blending it up for them to try and harden their stools.
Many of the babies are scratching each other and eyes and fighting for a ni**le.
My morning routine consists of cleaning their eyes and putting in drops if needed, followed by bottle feeding. The hours fly by, and I often realize that I haven’t had my coffee yet. I prioritize the kittens, which leaves little time for anything else. Plus, contending with the heat and my autoimmune condition has been quite challenging.
I do have some lovely adult cats under two years old available for adoption.
Thank you to everyone who has helped with donations of kitten food, cat food, litter, and other supplies. These items are invaluable for the rescue.
This year, I seem to be running out of kitten food faster than ever, especially with so many nursing kittens. One of the mothers decided not to care for her kittens, so I'm also taking care of newborns. I ended up buying an incubator; it may not be the best one, but it works and has already proven to be life-saving. Unfortunately, I have been putting everything on my credit card, and I haven’t made much progress in paying it down. 🙀 These little lives are worth it.
I have set up Amazon and Walmart wishlists, as well as Venmo and Zelle accounts for the rescue. If you would like a link to one of the accounts to donate, please send me a message. No matter the amount, every little bit is appreciated and will be put to good use.
Right now, I am caring for 17 young kittens, some of which are just starting to eat soft food, along with 10 that are ready for adoption. I am also looking after a mother cat and her two babies that were found in a box at a store. The two boys are absolutely amazing and crave attention 24/7. They would be wonderful for kids as they don’t mind being held. One of the boys has even started using the cat wheel and is showing the others how to do it. I’ll have to post a video, as it’s quite impressive!
I appreciate each and every one of you for your kindness and compassion toward animals. Your donations mean so much and save many lives. Right now, I could really use as much soft food as possible, along with a bit more litter.
Currently, I am feeding over 35 kittens and cats, including outside kitties as well. 🥵🙏😻
Thank you and have a wonderful night.
