- BE ON THE LOOKOUT -
December 9th, 2025 - Two suspects were involved in a pursuit with a Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office vehicle this morning and shot multiple rounds at the Deputy’s unit. Subjects then fled on foot in the area of McCloud. Suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Last seen wearing dark colored clothing.

If you see either individual, shelter in place and call 911 immediately.

This is an active incident, and additional information will be provided as it comes available. If you have information regarding this case, contact the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 841-2900 and refer to case #25-2143. For media inquiries, call (530) 598-1647.

ISACC ANTHONY PEDROZA, 39, of Reno NV, was arraigned yesterday in the Lassen Superior Court on a criminal complaint alleging two counts of murder for the deaths of a 39-year old man and a 17-year old juvenile. The complaint also alleges a personal discharge of a firearm enhancement as well as a charge for transportation of an assault weapon. These allegations arise from an incident occurring in the morning hours of December 6 on Hwy 395.

Pedroza entered a not guilty plea to the charges and his next court date is scheduled for December 17, 2025. As with all criminally accused, Pedroza is presumed innocent until pled or proven guilty.

To address some misinformation contained in adverse publicity currently circulating: this was not a “road rage” incident, this was not “gang related” and there was no officer involved shooting.

This remains an ongoing investigation therefore no further comment on the merits of the case will be made at this time. Criminal court proceedings are open to the general public.
