NORTHSIDE WATER SERVICE & BOIL WATER NOTICE

Affected Area:

All water service north of Highway 70

Details:

Due to an emergency water line repair, water service has been temporarily shut off to the northside of town (north of highway 70).

We anticipate that the repairs will be made within the next couple of hours and that water service will resume once repairs are complete.

Once water service is on, the northside of town (north of highway 70) will be under a "Boil Water Notice". Full details are in the attached image on this post. This information has also been posted to the City website at https://www.cityofportola.com/boil-water-notice-north-of-highway-70-emergency-water-line-repair

We will communicate to those affected when the notice has been lifted. At this time, we expect to be able to provide notice 10/08/2025.

If you have any questions, please reach out to City Hall at 530-832-4216.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused as we work to repair the emergency water line repair.
