I give great thanks this morning to all of those that were able to attend our Open House over the weekend and those that have been ordering online. The support of our missions is so beautiful and to me, it felt like “old home week”…..seeing those that have been coming to open house for the last 20 years and then making new friends here on the farm. A blessing.

This morning I reflect on what it means to do what we do and serve so many in this world. I specifically use the word “we” because without you, I can’t serve the masses in need. Your orders make this Shop tick. You are our wing men and women. The sales fund our missions.

Those of you that have donated prayer shawls, we continue to thank you. We gave away many shawls this weekend to folks that were in need. The tears of gratitude were flowing.

A personal note to those that help me here…..Equally as important are the people that endlessly and tirelessly work to get this accomplished. It takes hundreds of hours to put an event on like this. I thank my family and close friends for not only working the weekend at the Open House but then inventorying after as we enter the three busiest weeks of the year. I could never do this without you. As they say, “there are many cogs in the wheel” that are never realized because you are often behind the scenes. Truly, you are the structure of this business…the bones. My deepest regard, love and gratitude to each of you.

If you come to the open house today or tomorrow, take a picture of yourself and post it here, tag yourself and share it to your page. All names of people that do this will be entered into a drawing for a $50 holiday gift box. There will be one in person winner.

If you are unable to make it because you live out of town or are hunting this weekend or have other commitments, place an order online, mention it in the comments, tag youself and share it to your page and you will also be eligible for a drawing for a $50 holiday gift box.
