A little journal entry from today… 📝🫶🏼😊 Today, I noticed…🤔 I noticed the uneven cobblestone beneath my feet, slowing my pace. The way the vines reached and wrapped themselves around old fences, each taking their own paths but reaching for the sky. The flowers that may have been tucked into crevices but were none the less creating beauty. The way a simple plant brightened an ordinary afternoon.

I noticed the little details.

Wandering through a garden, making my way from one small business to the next, collecting inspiration and capturing moments… I realized that this is how I LOVE to approach my WORK. Work and love in the same sentence? Yes. 😊🌷

Noticing the details of a storefront. Noticing the hours of passion behind the curated collections. Noticing the little details and oddities that make a business feel like itself.

The things that commonly overlooked but hold the best stories for later.

A year ago, I had a vision of one day leading social media and digital marketing consultations, adding to my role of creating content and helping businesses uncover what makes them special.

I wanted to continue to help tell stories but in an even greater way! Today, I’m very much in love with CREATING and now BUILDING strategy. Laying down the vision for a digital presence that feels authentic to the heart of the business.

Looking back at the past 10 months, I don’t think I could have fully predicted this chapter. The conversations.
The ideas written down on pieces of paper. The late nights. The questions asked. The moments of uncertainty. The little steps that slowly became something much bigger.

Today, I get to sit across from business owners and help them see what I see 💛 The magic that is already there.

I notice. And from there I say, “I would love to learn more.” A little journal entry from a season of growth, gratitude and building a dream one detail at a time.

FRIDAY FOCUS: slow your scroll. 💭✨

This week, creativity didn’t come from doing more. It came from noticing more. The hydrangeas still holding onto their bright summer color. The first dried blooms making their way into this next season ahead. A few minutes on the porch. Something vintage that caught my eye. Looking up at the sky instead of down at my phone. Watching the garden change almost imperceptibly from one week to the next.

Little details, really.

Those were the moments when I felt most inspired.
Most relaxed. Most like myself.

Creativity doesn’t always need a brainstorm, a mood board or another hour at the computer. It needs fresh air, a slower morning, flowers on the table and a few quiet minutes to notice all the beautiful things around us.

So today, I’m collecting a few of those moments from my week. The pieces that made me stop for a second and think, I want to remember this. 💌

Maybe that’s your Friday reminder, too: slow the scroll and look around.
