It’s my best friends birthday! And if you know Bryce, you could imagine being married to him is quite a party. Bryce is the most creative person I know. He’s a huge optimist and never gives up. There’s no quitting, but only “how” and “what If” solutions. He gives everyone the benefit of the doubt. Forgives easy. Party’s hard. Becomes everyone’s best friend. Genuinely wants the best for everyone. Is the most fun dad. And the best person I could be married to. Bryce is one of the best people I know truly. Just over 4 years ago we bought this campground. One of the most exciting and ambitious days yet in the history of .

At the time it was an abandoned airport with just a few RV hookups.
(We almost got a plane out of the deal… but that’s another story.)

But the views.
The dark skies.
The quiet.
And the fact that it sits at the gateway to some of the most beautiful land on this planet.

We knew it had potential.

And we finally had a place where we could invite people to come create memories and experiences with the people they love.

Well… we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get to the next phase.

And over the next couple weeks we’re excited to finally share what’s coming next!!! Any guesses??

We recently started over in the Bible at the beginning of the year and I’ve really enjoyed studying more about the creation and the fall. A couple thoughts I’m still thinking about:

Adam and Eve could have stayed in the Garden of Eden indefinitely. How amazing and comfortable that probably would have been for them! But they needed something the garden wasn’t providing. They needed growth.

God values our agency, so this earthly experience that tries us in every which way possible wasn’t forced upon us. But it was allowed to be a choice. A choice that Eve made first and Adam followed and supported. Opposition, death, struggle, and more were introduced. But with that, so was victory, life, growth, and joy. All possible because of our Savior.

I realized while in church that God wants me to be happy. But that doesn’t always equal comfortable. And most of the time, it’s the exact opposite of comfort that we need to experience real joy and fulfillment. 🫶🏼
