HEIST MANUSCRIPTS WANTED

We’re seeking bold, high stakes heist stories that crack safes, break systems, and steal more than just objects. If your manuscript delivers precision, tension, misdirection, and characters who thrive on the edge, we want to read it.

What We’re Looking For
• Novels centered on a heist, caper, or elaborate theft
• Strong narrative engines: planning, assembling the crew, complications, ex*****on, fallout
• Distinctive voices—gritty, stylish, comedic, high tech, or genre bending
• Characters with motives that matter: revenge, redemption, survival, reinvention
• Twists that land, stakes that escalate, and an ending that hits like a detonator

If the story revolves around taking something that isn’t easily taken, it qualifies.

Submission Guidelines
• Completed manuscripts between 60,000–110,000 words
• Attach a brief synopsis (1–2 pages)
• Include a short author bio
• Simultaneous submissions welcome

What We Value
We’re drawn to stories with:
• Clever architecture
• Moral ambiguity
• Tension that tightens like a lock mechanism
• Characters who surprise us under pressure

If your novel can make readers hold their breath, grin at the audacity, or feel the floor drop out beneath them, North Country Press wants it in our inbox.

How to Submit
Send your manuscript and materials to:
[email protected]
