Who are we? I would like to introduce the owners and their family.

Shiloh Abbott Ranch – A Place to Gather, Grow, and Give Back

We’re the Abbotts – after years in commercial real estate, construction, and investing, and Ashley’s time as a school teacher and counselor, we traded hard hats and lesson plans for a dream that’s closer to the heart.

The Lord has also blessed them with four daughters who join in at any moment around the farm.
Aleeza is 20 and lives in the upstate. Her major is occupational therapy.
Olivia is a senior in highschool and finishing two classes at home and she is also a full time nanny.
Maddie is a rising senior at Ben Lippen and actively working with her 5 horses.
Savannah is a rising 9th grader at Ben Lippen and is on their volleyball team.

Opening and owning the Bitty & Beau’s Coffee in Columbia, the Abbotts eyes were opened to another world. A world full of life. People. Love.

Now they have opened Shiloh Abbott Ranch – a homestead where life slows down, community grows strong, and the simple joys of farm living shine through. Picture Jersey cows grazing at sunrise, goats making mischief, fresh eggs from happy hens, and a space where friends, family, and neighbors can gather to see our creator in nature, fellowship, and spend time each other.

Shiloh Abbott Ranch is also a program dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It focuses on life skills training, micro-business development, and sustainable housing, fostering an inclusive environment where individuals can live, work, and participate in everyday activities—where every disability is an ability.

Shiloh Abbott Ranch isn’t just land—it’s a new chapter for our family, rooted in faith, hard work, and a desire to create something meaningful that we can share with others.

Update at Shiloh Farm :

🐾 Dogs: Started with 4, lost 1 (RIP buddy 💔), added 2….the math says 5, the mud says 40.

🐱 Cats: Started with 0, added 3, lost 1 (probably plotting revenge), added 2, added 2 more, lost 1… final count? 5 cats and 100% more attitude.

🐔 Chickens: Started with 0, added 3, then 15 more (because chicken math), lost 1, added 2… population = “just enough to sound like a feathered riot every morning.”

🦆 Ducks: Started with 0, added 9… now the farm has its own splash zone.

🐐 Goats: Started with 0, added 11… now fences are purely decorative.

🐄 Cows: Started with 0, added 2, giving 1 back but adding another… net cow math = still 2, but don’t ask me to explain.

🐮 Jersey Cows: Started with 0, 4 arriving next week… moo-ving in soon!

👧 Humans: Started with 4 girls and a husband… still have 4 girls and a husband. (Miracle: no returns, no trades!)

🐇 Rabbits: Started with 0, now have 4 “rabbit rabbits,” because one word wasn’t enough for the chaos they cause.

🐎 Horses: Started with 1, added 3, added another… total 5, and somehow still “need just one more.”

🛞 Mini Ponies: Started with 0, added 1… finally, a horse that eats less but thinks it’s the boss.

Day 5 – Co-Care Farming Camp at Shiloh Ranch
What a way to end the week! Today, campers got creative with “lake water” for snack, crafted their own homemade pizzas for lunch, splashed through water day fun, and wrapped it all up with an extra-long hayride around the farm.

We are so grateful to each parent for the opportunity to host your child this week. It’s been a joy!

Day 4 of Co-Care Farming Camp at Shiloh Farms 🌱🍔🔥

Today was full of fun and hands-on learning! Campers potted their own vegetable plants to take home, made fresh hamburgers grilled over the fire, crafted tic-tac-toe boards, and shared lots of laughs along the way.

Every day at camp is a gift, and we’re so thankful for this amazing group of kids and the joy they bring to the farm!

Can we give a shout out to Farmer Brandon!

Feeling especially thankful for my husband this week. He has given so selflessly of himself to help make this camp a beautiful experience for the kids. From clearing trails for the hay wagon to making sure we had rabbits and goats ready to meet the campers—he’s been behind the scenes every step of the way. He’s spent countless hours installing fences, preparing spaces, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

I truly couldn’t have done any of this without him. I’m so grateful for a man who loves this farm and this mission just as much as I do. Even more, I’m thankful for a godly man who leads our family with strength, humility, and purpose.

Thank you, love—you make all the difference. 💛

Day 3 at Co-Care Farming Camp at Shiloh Ranch 🌿🐇

What a joyful day! Campers made beautiful wind chimes, cooked up chicken fajitas with fresh-picked garden peppers, and even enjoyed a little fun in the rain! They painted flower pots and planted seeds! The bunnies brought extra smiles during some sweet rabbit time. 🐔🌶️🎶🌧️

We are so thankful for these hands-on experiences and the opportunity to spend our days with such an incredible group of kids. 💚

Day 2 at Sun Oak Co. Farm Camp 🌞🌿
What a beautiful and fun-filled day on the farm!

✨ Campers made grilled cheese sandwiches over an open fire
🥒 Picked fresh cucumbers and made homemade pickles
🌸 Decorated vases and created stunning flower bouquets with freshly cut blooms

So much joy, creativity, and hands-on learning today. Grateful for this amazing group and our awesome helpers! 💚

Day 1 at Sun Oak Co. Care Farming Camp = Huge Success! 🌞🌿

A big thank you to all our incredible helpers who made today run so smoothly!

Our campers jumped right in—cutting potatoes for lunch, roasting hotdogs over the fire, and building their very own birdhouses. 🥔🔥🐦

So much learning, laughter, and hands-on fun. We can’t wait for Day 2!
