SALEM WITCH TRIALS

On June 10, 1692, the first official ex*****on resulting from the witch trials in Salem, Massachusetts took place as Bridget Bishop was hanged. The trials were the result of mass hysteria over witchcraft that gripped Salem village and led to many deaths and accusations against many of the men and women in the village.
