We haven’t had the opportunity to participate in a race this year, although we did attend a practice session a few weeks ago and were pleased to find that the car performed significantly better. With numerous racing this weekend, I had initially planned to attend a few local shows, but unfortunately, the inclement weather this week resulted in the cancellation of all events in the area. Instead, I have been watching the races on FloRacingfrom the comfort of home, which has led me to reflect on a phrase my dad used to say whenever the weather threatened to impact the races: he would open a Coors Banquet beer and remark, “It looks like it’s going to be ‘The Stay At Home 40’ this week.” This nostalgic recollection inspired me to create a few promotional items for ‘The Stay At Home 40’.
