As the 2025/2026 school year comes to a close, we want to thank every student, parent, staff member, athlete, coach, and community supporter who tuned in and supported SpartanTV this year.

What makes us most proud is not just the numbers, but the growth of our students behind the cameras, in the control room, and out in the community representing Sycamore with professionalism and passion.
This year proved what SpartanTV is capable of, and we are only getting started.

🥎 THAT’S A WRAP ON SPARTANTV SPORTS FOR 2025/26 🥎
The Sycamore Spartans Varsity Girls Softball team closed out SpartanTV’s final sports broadcast of the 2025/26 school year in dominant fashion last Friday with a commanding 16-1 victory in just 4 innings! 🔥
Grace Caldwell delivered a stellar performance in the circle, allowing just one run, while the Spartan offense exploded at the plate:
💣 Home runs from Armstrong and Hallahan
💣💣 Two home runs from Heil
The Spartans earned a first-round bye in the IHSA Playoffs as postseason action begins later this month! 🏆
A huge thank you to Coach Carpenter for her incredible collaboration and support throughout the season. We are extremely proud to have brought Sycamore Softball back to the SpartanTV airwaves this year.
Thank you to everyone who watched, supported, and followed along all school year long.

SENIOR NIGHT IN STYLE
On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the Varsity Softball Team celebrated Senior Night by honoring five outstanding seniors and their families for their dedication and impact on the Spartan program. ❤️🥎
The Spartans then put on an offensive showcase, launching SIX home runs on their way to a dominant 10-1 victory over Morris High School! 🔥💣
Congratulations to our seniors and the entire team on an unforgettable night!

SpartanTV recently had the incredible opportunity to tour the studios of Marquee Sports Network in Chicago! As part of our collaboration with Marquee earlier this school year, students went behind the scenes to explore the production studio, connect with producers and on-air talent, and even tour historic Wrigley Field.
We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and experience firsthand what goes into sports broadcasting at the highest level. Thank you, Marquee Sports Network, for an unforgettable day! 🎥⚾🖤💛

SpartanTV hasn't done a softball game in 3 years.
A little cold and a lot of rain couldn't keep us down!
Led by a stellar pitching performance by Bella Jacobs and a 2-run moonshot by the birthday girl, Kairi Lantz, the Spartans took a 7-0 victory over LaSalle-Peru on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
