For this event, the Flying Ears will be joining members of Motley Crew (Racine Dragon Boat Club) to create the awesomeness that is, The Flying Beers! We have special shirts and everything. Come out for a GREAT cause and enjoy a glorious day of racing.

Curious about giving it a try? Come join us for a practice and give it a go! You can find us at Lake Shabbona (the dock near the Pokonoka's Dockside) on Saturday morning at 8:15am. Wear comfortable clothes, be willing to get wet, and have a great time with us on the water!

It was a hot and windy day at the Dragonboat Race for Literacy, but a great time was had by all! The Flying Ears took bronze in our division. Shout out to Jersey for filling in as our drummer today, we appreciate you giving up a day off of work to help us out.

Tonight was our last practice before our first race of the season THIS SATURDAY! We didn't let a little rain stop us! Dragonboat is a water sport after all.😁

We'd love to see folks out at Ping Tom Memorial Park in Chinatown for the Dragonboat Race for Literacy! Races kick off at 8am and run until early afternoon. While you're in the area, you can also explore all that Chinatown has to offer - beautiful art work, delicious foods, unique shopping, and more.
