Now Hiring: Lead Preschool Teacher (Full-Time)
📍 Sylvania, OH – Marshall Child Care Center

Sylvania Community Services is seeking a full-time Lead Preschool Teacher to join our growing early learning team at our new Marshall Child Care Center!

In this leadership role, you’ll:
✨ Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans using approved curriculum
✨ Support children’s social-emotional and academic growth
✨ Maintain compliance with state regulations and Step Up to Quality standards
✨ Partner with families and fellow educators to provide a nurturing, engaging environment for preschool-aged children

Position Details
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Ages Served: 3–5 years old
• Location: 5440 Marshall Road, Sylvania, OH

Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED (CDA credential or higher required)
• Meets Step Up to Quality Level 2 Lead Teacher requirements
• Experience with preschool-aged children (including children with special needs)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and actively engage with young children

We’re marching through a new parade route this year, so be sure to grab your spot along the way to catch all the excitement, music, and community spirit.

NEW PARADE ROUTE: The parade will start at Pacesetter Park exiting the park onto Sylvania-Metamora. Turning right on Sylvania-Metamora, then proceeding right on Centennial to conclude at Fossil Park.

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS: At this year’s Northview vs Southview Football Game (August 22nd, 2025), Cougar Lane will be closed to vehicle traffic for everyone but school busses before, during, and after the game. A few minutes before the game ends, Eastbound Sylvania Avenue will be closed at King Road and Westbound Sylvania Avenue will be closed at Vicksburg Drive along with all side streets and parking lot entrances between those two intersections. All vehicles exiting the eastern drive of Southview High School will be sent eastbound on Sylvania Avenue and all vehicles exiting the western drive will be sent Westbound on Sylvania Avenue. The area between these two drives will be designated as a safe zone for pedestrians to cross. As a suggestion, parents can plan to pick up their kids TamOShanter (7060 Sylvania Avenue) to avoid waiting for us to re-open Sylvania Avenue. Please contact Sgt.
