It's that time of year again for the Sylvania fireworks celebration on July 3rd. Thousands of people will be visiting the Sylvania area for this event, so traffic is always a challenge. Please review the map showing traffic patterns and closures to help plan your evening. Road closures will begin around 9pm, so please plan accordingly. Officers will be present to direct traffic for a safe and smooth departure after the event. There will be some neighborhoods that will not be accessible during the temporary road closures. Fireworks begin around 10pm. Exiting the area does not happen quickly. Please anticipate departure times to take 1-2 hours depending on your location. We hope that everyone has a safe and happy holiday!
