Screven County is one of the most scenic counties in Georgia and June 10 offers an excellent chance to see its beauty first-hand while supporting an excellent cause. Motorcyclists can ride the 50-mile course of “Crusin’ The Pines” Poker Run as funds are raised for the United Way of Screven County. For a fee of $25 for the riders and an additional $15 for passengers, the route starts and finishes at the Market on Maple in Sylvania. Those who pre-register before June 1 will save $5 – making the “Crusin’ The Pines” $20 for riders and $10 for passengers. Opportunities to sponsor the event also are available. The United Way of Screven County annually helps raise money; promote advocacy; and add to the well-being of Screven County citizens.
