Every year from January 1 to August 31 nominations are accepted at http://www.bestoflongisland.com/. To ensure the correct business or person is nominated please include the town. Of all the nominees in each category, the top 15 make it onto the voting ballot. Between October 1 and December 15
voting is open for Best of Long Island. During this 75-day window everyone can vote for whatever local store, restaurant, business or person they feel should hold a Best of Long Island title. You are allowed to vote once per day, per IP address, per category. These categories are in sections such as Arts and Entertainment, Food, Health and Wellness and others to make it easy to find a specific place you're looking for. Voting for Best of Long Island is a great way to support the places you frequent. Once voting ends, results are audited and added up You Pick Em, a third party administrator. In order to find out who's the best, we completely rely on you. So vote away!
