My poor mom will probably never forget the day she let her daughter play with her old Dawn Dolls that were all nicely placed on their original cards in their original outfits in perfect condition. I'll also never forget how much fun I had playing with those vintage dolls and dressing them up over and over in the wild 70s outfits they came with. Would be in much better condition if I never got my hands on them, but I like to think the memory I have of how cool it was to play with moms toys makes it worthwhile. Sorry again, mom. At least I still have them all. 😅

So since I've seen a couple others share their old Applebee's stained glass orange cat light fixtures. I thought I'd share mine. I bought mine at an auction a few weeks ago in Ravenna, OH. They also were selling the hot air balloon one and the carousel horse one. If you remember Applebee's from the 90s/00s, you'll remember the light fixtures!
This is my cat Pumpkin, a female orange tabby. Nearly everything in my house is a weird secondhand find, including my cats.

Mom was going to send this to the thrift store but instead she nudged it toward me in a white elephant gift exchange.
This came with the house they bought 6 or 7 years ago. It hung above their toilet and my step dad HATED it. Apparently he could see himself in the tiny mirror when he used the toilet. We just remodeled our bathroom and mom was sure I would groan and send this straight to the thrift when I opened it.
Nay. It sits proudly on a shelf in our fresh new bath. My husband has spent 2 days telling me how ridiculous and cool he thinks it is.
