Happy 8th birthday to our boys! 🥳🐾
A little flashback to when we moved into our first house: Bear was mildly horrified by the entire experience and decided the basement stairs were the safest place to be, because that makes total sense 🤔. Meanwhile, Teddy curiously investigated every single inch of the house. And look how much they've grown (in waist too)! 🤣

I can’t believe it’s already been 7 years since Teddy and Bear came into my life. Facebook memories shared this today from when I did my own foster work.

Teddy was rescued first, pulled from an abusive situation — and I remember promising him that life was going to get better.

I went back the next day to get Bear, I knew I couldn’t leave him behind

Originally they were supposed to just be fosters…
But the universe clearly had other plans.
When I came home and found them cuddled up together like this, I just knew — they were bonded.

And the only way to make sure they stayed together was to make them mine. 7 years later and they cuddle the same as they did those first few days.
Best decision ever. 💛🐾
