Not all heroes wear capes! Meet ten Central New York music teachers who inspired a love of music in their classrooms. These educators received WCNY’s Classic FM Music Educator Award during the 2024–25 school year. Learn more about the honorees in a half-hour special airing Saturday, Aug. 30, at 11:30 a.m. on WCNY-TV.

The program will also air on Classic FM on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, at 8:30 a.m., and Friday, Sept. 5, at noon.
