SHALOM
DAY 8 - NOVENA TO ARCHANGELS RAPHAEL, MICHAEL, GABRIEL
SATURDAY - 27/09/2025
PRAYER INTENTION
Today we pray for deliverance from fear, anxiety, and despair, through the intercession of St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael.
*MEDITATION*
*When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. — (Psalm 56:3)*
Fear, anxiety, and despair are common struggles in our spiritual journeys, threatening to pull us away from trusting in God’s providence. The Church teaches us that the angels, especially St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, serve as protectors and messengers of God’s peace and grace. In times of distress, we can turn to their intercession to receive strength and hope. St. Michael fights for us in spiritual battles, St. Gabriel brings God’s consoling messages, and St. Raphael heals our emotional wounds and offers divine guidance. Let us trust in God’s plan, confident that His angels surround us with care.
As the Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us, "From its beginning until death, human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession" (CCC 336). By calling on these holy archangels, we ask them to defend us from the torment of fear and despair, bringing us the peace that comes from trusting fully in God.
*In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen*
*I Confess to You*
I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin,
all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God. Amen.
*Come Holy Spirit*
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
*The Lord's Prayer*
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not Into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.Amen.
*Hail Mary*
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women
and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us Sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
*Opening prayer*
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your divine providence. Through the powerful intercession of Your holy archangels—St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael—we seek Your guidance, protection, and healing. We ask You to send them to our aid, that we may stand firm against the forces of darkness, listen attentively to Your voice, and receive Your healing grace in our lives. May these nine days of prayer draw us closer to You and strengthen us in our journey of faith. Amen.
*DAY 8 - NOVENA TO ARCHANGELS RAPHAEL, MICHAEL, GABRIEL*

May St. Michael defend us against all spiritual attacks and deliver us from evil. May St. Gabriel bring clarity and understanding of Your will in our lives. May St. Raphael bring healing to our bodies, minds, and souls. We lift up our personal petitions before You, trusting in the power of their intercession. (Mention your intentions here). We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
*A Prayer for Peace and Deliverance in Times of Fear and Despair*
Heavenly Father,
In moments of deep fear, anxiety, and despair, we come before You, seeking deliverance through the intercession of Your holy archangels, St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael. We ask for the courage to stand firm against the forces of darkness that try to shake our faith and for the grace to trust in Your loving care.
St. Michael, mighty protector, defend us in our spiritual battles, driving away the spirits of fear and hopelessness that cloud our hearts. St. Gabriel, messenger of God's peace, help us hear and trust in the words of comfort that the Lord speaks to our souls. We place all our fears, anxieties, and worries at Your feet, trusting in Your providence. Grant us Your peace, Lord, and the assurance that You are with us, always guiding and protecting us.
