Coming up on five years of being in Washington. As a NY native, this shocks me everytime. I know NY like the back of my hand and we’ll go toe to toe and arguing with anybody that it’s the best state in the US and at times the worst too lol.

BUT ONLY WE CAN SAY THAT!

I have to be honest I still cringe when people ask me what made me move here… I quickly respond with I moved for a relationship, but the truth is, I moved because I was strong enough to do it. Looking back no longer shames me but fuels me to keep moving forward, trying new things, and living. That’s the BEST part. 🦦

Recently, I was told that I’m a silver lining kind of person and I think that’s the best compliment. I’m optimistic as hell and I hope that never changes.

Happy Fit-n- Feels Friday! I’m feeling a little out of it but I still showed up and the I’m going to nap it out or go out👀 we will see! I started a gratitude journal 2 days ago and it really words to see what has made me smile over the last couple of days. I also watch videos of me dancing which oddly makes me laugh. Had so much fun celebrating at The Living Taproom!! So voila! Happy Friday! Hope it’s a good one!🤎✨

Did this week feel long to you?

To me it did. Now, truthfully I fell for it. The Seattle false summer. That’s where the sun comes out and makes me feel that’s its timeeee. It’s not. It’s 43 degrees and I’m typing this from my bed because I know that I’ll running out the door with no minutes to spare before work.

I almost didn’t come

Not because I didn’t want to�but because I didn’t want to run into someone

and for a second�
I let that thought get louder than me
but that’s not who I am.

I’m not rearranging my life�shrinking my world�or missing out on joy�because of one uncomfortable encounter

So I came anyway
and what I found was exactly what I needed

I don’t know about you, but I like a little bit of order lol and my sleep pattern has been all over the place. The ottoman in my room has way too many clothes on it and I did not pack my lunch today.

But I did pack my lunch most of the time this week. I was able to make up my bed every day this week( it’s a thing)! Also, I finished a book and I got great texts from Tasha and Kathy! I also FaceTimed Drea yesterday randomly and she answered! She’s going to Paris!😂😂

So I wake up with so much gratitude that I’m like yay! I’m happy but then the day goes on and I’m feeling a bunch of things.

So far today, I’ve hollered with laughter and cried for five minutes. Duality right? I’m happy it’s Friday but I’m homesick.

I’m proud of myself for my consistency on here. I really wanted to make a digital journal and this is exactly what it is and has been. Thank you for reading and engaging with me. It helps me more than you know!
