a look at NCL Escape’s Mandara Spa 👇
the spa had thermal suites and a big relaxation area filled with beds, cabanas, heated lounge chairs. the thermal suites consist of:
♨️ sauna - heat range 175-212F or 80-100C
♨️ sanarium - heat range 113-140F or 45-60C
♨️ aromatic steam bath - heat range 113-120F 45-28C
🫧 salt bath - heat range 70-75F or 22-25C
❄️ snow room that I forgot to mention in the video lol and I do not recall/have the temps of, but guidelines state to only stay in it for 2 mins at a time, and I could only really stand it for 3 mins max
the price is pretty steep, and will depend on the length of your cruise, but imo, it’s worth it if you go there daily. it’s a great way to get away from the crowds, and the main decks on a cruise can be very crowded. not to mention all the benefits of hydrotherapy too!
I’ve been slowly getting exposed to hydrotherapy in the last 5 years, but fell in love with it when I experienced the Scandinave spa in Whistler. huuuuge shoutout. I am dreaming of the day I go back, and also for my next spa week on my next (family) cruise this fall 😝
