Eyes of Autumn have a long-lost record!

While still in high school, Eyes of Autumn self-released ambitious EPs and toured nationally, breaking down in minivans and sleeping wherever they could. This led to a recording contract with 54°40′ or Fight! and their first full-length album, recorded at John Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone studio. After disbanding in 2003, the group reunited briefly in 2007 and recorded with Kyle Brunette at the Court D studio underneath USA of Yesterday in Tacoma, WA. Those sessions produced Mother Ghost, a seven-song album capturing the most creatively free period of the band’s life.

Shortly after recording, Peter (drummer) left the band to help form Deep Sea Diver and the Mother Ghost album was shelved. Fast forward to the 2020s: The multitrack recordings were accidentally found on a random hard drive. That led to a collaborative effort between Jeff at Swoon Records, David Nichols (mix engineer), Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering, and Sean Alexander (graphic artist) to bring the EP to life. The 12" will hit the streets on 6/26/2026.
