🔥 BJJ 101 — KATAGATAME SETUP FROM SIDE CONTROL 🔥

If you want a clean, tight, high-percentage submission from side control, Katagatame (Arm-Triangle Choke) is one of the best tools in your arsenal. Here’s the simple formula:

1️⃣ Clear the near arm — Swim your arm inside and pin their elbow to the mat.
2️⃣ Head position wins — Get your head low next to theirs and drive it toward their trapped arm.
3️⃣ Walk the arm up — Use shoulder pressure to push their arm across their neck.
4️⃣ Lock the triangle — Slide your arm under their head and lock your biceps.
5️⃣ Finish with pressure — Squeeze your elbows together and drop your weight forward for the tap.
