We here at Tonal Park were terribly saddened to hear the news of Pete Reiniger's passing.

Pete was a terrific engineer with fantastic ears and a passion for making audio sound amazing on recordings and onstage. He was a long time client through his work with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings and brought in so much incredible music for us to work on. But Pete was much more than a client. He was a dear friend and colleague, and our staff was honored to work alongside Pete at many National Council for the Traditional Arts (NCTA) festivals and National Endowment for the Arts events. We will miss him terribly. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
