It’s , and we’re celebrating just a few of our alumni who are making an impact in sports media.

Meet Robert Rimpson, a 2019 broadcast journalism graduate. During his time on the Hill, he served as sports editor for The FAMUAN, sports director at 90.5 FM and producer for FAMU TV-20. Today, the Kansas City, Missouri, native is a sports producer at FOX4 in Kansas City, where he has made his mark for the past five years.

Previously, he was a staff writer for Arrowhead Pride, an intern at the Courier Journal, and a
contributor for the Chiefs Wire and LockedOnChiefs websites, covering topics such as the Chiefs’ training camp and the NFL combine.

We’re excited to follow the rest of Robert’s journey!
