Before I had my All-on-X Dental Implants, I was in removable dentures for a year - and it took a while for me to learn to talk and eat again.

Gold teeth aren’t “evil.” They’re actually one of the oldest and most respected materials in dental history!

Ancient Etruscan, Egyptian, and Roman dental work used gold because it symbolized skill, care, and quality. Even in modern Western dentistry, gold was considered the premium material well into the 1900s, and many people still choose it today because it’s safe, durable, and beautiful.

The idea that gold teeth are “bad” or tied to crime isn’t historical… it’s a modern stereotype, and it didn’t come from dental science ... it came from prejudice.

Personal style is personal... but misinformation is misinformation, and we should be careful and conscious about the terms we use.

Gold teeth have never been the problem. Modern stereotypes are the real problem. 🦷
