It's almost like I warned you this would happen... and you thought I was just being a hater. 😅

Do your research when thinking about going overseas for ANY procedure... dental or otherwise. They may use different materials or have different standards that just don't hold up. Know your risks!

If you went to Turkey or another county and got dental implants... let me know if you've had issues with them or not.

Q&A All-on-X Dental Implants!

What is All-on-X?
- A full set of teeth supported by just 4–6 implants per arch.

Where did you go?
in Jacksonville, FL.

How long is the procedure?
- Surgery takes 2–4 hours, and most patients leave with teeth the same day.

Is it painful?
- Done under anesthesia — post-op discomfort usually fades within a week.

How long do they last?
- Implants can last a lifetime; the prosthetic arch lasts 10–20 years or more.

How do I care for them?
- Brush daily, water floss underneath, and visit your dentist for cleanings.

Does insurance cover it?

Parents with Dentures / Dental Implants .... how did your kids handle your journey?

Were you open with them about it? Have you used the experience to get them to brush their own teeth better? 😅 I want to hear your experiences as a parent who went through tooth loss.

My kids were pretty kind about it and supportive... their classmates at school were a different story, though. Kids can be harsh sometimes!
