Florida credit unions had the opportunity to meet with Rep. Lois Frankel, U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, and Darren Soto for Congress to discuss critical issues impacting our movement.

With Rep. Frankel, we emphasized the importance of protecting the credit union tax status and lifting the veterans’ member business loan cap. With Rep. Castor, we focused on fighting fraud and preserving vital CDFI funding. And with Rep. Soto, we discussed modernizing CTR thresholds, safeguarding the CDFI fund, and expanding access to capital for veteran business owners.
